Pineapple sorbet 2 ingredients

  • 1 c water
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c White sugar
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Brown sugar
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Pineapple, chopped
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Lime Juice
  • 1 T White rum, optional
  • Sweet star fruit -=OR-=
  • -- kiwi slices to garnish
  • (optional)

Cooking Pineapple sorbet 2

1. Make a syrup by combining the water & both sugars in a non-corrosive pot & bring to a boil.
2. Simmeri for 5 minutes.
3. Remove from the heat & let cool.
4. Pureei the pineapple in a blender or a food processor & strain through a fine sieve.
5. Combine the syrup, pineapple, lime juice & rum. Freeze following the instructions for making lemon sorbet.
6. Garnishi with sliced star fruit or kiwi.
7. Variation: pina colada sorbet.
8. Substitute 1 c canned coconut cream for the sugar syrup; do not cook.
9. Combine with the remaining ingredients & continue as above.
