Picante salsa sauce - ron piper ingredients
- 5 lb Tomatoes -OR-
- Chilies, hot (2-6), chopped
- 1 large Onion, chopped
- 1 large bell pepper, green, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- c Tomato paste
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Vinegar, white
- 3 T Sugar
- 1 T Salt, pickling
- 2 t Paprika
- -- OPTIONAL --
- 2 t Cilantro, finely chopped
Cooking Picante salsa sauce - ron piper
1. Blanchi tomatoes.
2. Chopi peppers and onion, bring to boil, then simmer ½ hour.
3. Add cilantro and cook another ½ hour notes: pour into hot sterilized jars.
4. Boil lids 15 - 20 minutes.
5. After blanching tomatoes, add only tomatoes, do not add all the tomato juice, otherwise you will end up with a thin(runny) salsa.
6. You can double & triple this recipe and it will turn out real nice.
