Picante salsa sauce - ron piper ingredients

  • 5 lb Tomatoes -OR-
  • Chilies, hot (2-6), chopped
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 1 large bell pepper, green, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • c Tomato paste
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Vinegar, white
  • 3 T Sugar
  • 1 T Salt, pickling
  • 2 t Paprika
  • -- OPTIONAL --
  • 2 t Cilantro, finely chopped

Cooking Picante salsa sauce - ron piper

1. Blanchi tomatoes.
2. Chopi peppers and onion, bring to boil, then simmer ½ hour.
3. Add cilantro and cook another ½ hour notes: pour into hot sterilized jars.
4. Boil lids 15 - 20 minutes.
5. After blanching tomatoes, add only tomatoes, do not add all the tomato juice, otherwise you will end up with a thin(runny) salsa.
6. You can double & triple this recipe and it will turn out real nice.
