Picadillo (rice and beef hash/filling) ingredients
- 2 t olive oil
- 8 oz Cooked ground beef lean
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Diced Onion
- 2483527⁄624973141 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 med Tomato, chopped and seeded
- 1 small Apple, pared and chopped
- 1 Sliced canned jalapeno
- 2 T Raisins
- 2 Large stuffed olives, sliced
- 2 Pitted black olives, sliced
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Each salt and pepper
- Dash each cinnamon & cloves
Cooking Picadillo (rice and beef hash/filling)
1. In a 10" skillet heat oil over medium heat; add ground beef and cook, breaking up large pieces with a wooden spoon, until crumbly.
2. Add onion and garlic and saute until softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Stiri in the remaining ingredients.
4. Reducei heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally until flavors are well blended, about 20 minutes.
5. Serve over rice or as a filling for burritos or tacos.
