Pesto Tomatoes and Fresh Mozzarella ingredients
- 8 lettuce leaves, washed and dried
- 3 T pesto
- 6 plum tomatoes, split in half, or vine-ripened tomatoes sliced 1-inch thick
- 2483527⁄624973141 lb fresh mozzarella, sliced in to 12 pieces
- 2 T Balsamic vinegar
- 1 T olive oil
- Freshly ground black pepper
Cooking Pesto Tomatoes and Fresh Mozzarella
1. Arrange the red lettuce leaves on a plate.
2. Place the tomato halves or slices on top of the lettuce.
3. Spread pesto on top of the tomatoes and place the mozzarella on top of the pesto.
4. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and freshly ground black pepper.
