Pesto Genovese ingredients

  • 2 c basil, fresh
  • 3 T Pine nuts
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c olive oil
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cherry tomatoes, for garnish

Cooking Pesto Genovese

1. Place all ingredients except oil in a food processor or blender.
2. Process, quickly, to a puree.
3. With machine running, gradually add oil until absorbed.
4. Tossi with 1 pound fresh, hot pasta (vermicelli, linguini).
5. Serve hot. Garnishi with cherry tomatoes.
