Peanut patties

Peanut patties ingredients
- 2 1⁄4 c Sugar
- 1 c Milk
- 2⁄3 c White Karo syrup
- 1⁄2 t vanilla
- 3 c Raw Peanuts
- 6 dr Red food coloring
- 1 T butter
Cooking Peanut patties
1. Combine sugar, milk, karo and peanuts together; bring to a boil.
2. Cook on low heat for 1 hour and 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Remove from heat; add butter, vanilla and food coloring.
4. Beat until thick and holds shape.
5. Drop from spoon onto greased waxed paper.
6. Yield: 50 patties.
