Peanut butter crispies ingredients
- 1⁄4 c Firmly packed brown sugar
- 1⁄3 c Light corn syrup
- 1⁄4 c Peanut butter
- 4 c Crisp rice cereal
- OPTIONAL GARNISHES
- Peanut butter
- Chocolate candies
Cooking Peanut butter crispies
1. Combine sugar and corn syrup in 3-quart saucepan.
2. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and syrup dissolves; remove from heat.
3. Stiri in peanut butter.
4. Add cereal; stir until well coated.
5. Press mixture evenly and firmly into buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan using buttered spatula or waxed paper.
6. Cut into 24 squares when cool.
7. Attach chocolate candies with peanut butter, if desired.
