Palitaw ingredients

  • 3 c sticky rice flour (malagkit)
  • 1 1⁄2 c water
  • 1 small Grated coconut
  • 1 c Sugar
  • 1⁄4 c sesame seeds, toasted and powdered

Cooking Palitaw

1. Combine rice flour and water.
2. Blend thoroughly.
3. With floured hands, shape dough into egg-size ovals.
4. Flatten with thumb.
5. Drop palitaw oval in 2 cups boiling water.
6. Scoop out with skimmer as soon as they float.
7. Roll in grated coconut.
8. Serve at once with sugar mixed with toasted sesame seeds.

This food is exselent and very watery to your mouth....I had try and it wasn\'t that really hard.
