Osso Buco/Cp ingredients

  • 4 Veal or lamb shanks
  • Well seasoned flour
  • 1 clv garlic, minced
  • 3 T olive oil
  • 1 c Beef broth
  • 1⁄4 c Dry white wine
  • 2 T Tomato paste
  • Rind of 1 lemon -- cut into
  • 3 small Carrots -- finely diced
  • 1 T parsley, chopped
  • 1⁄4 t Dried marjoram -- crushed
  • 1⁄4 t dried oregano -- crushed
  • 1⁄8 t dried sage -- crushed

Cooking Osso Buco/Cp

1. Roll shanks in flour; brown with garlic in hot oil in skillet.
2. Add remaining ingredients to crockpot.
3. Stiri to mix. Add shanks.
4. Cover pot and cook on LOW for 10 to 12 hours until shanks are tender.
5. Garnishi with parsley.
6. Serve with pasta.
