Ortega Fiesta Bake

Ortega Fiesta Bake ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 c Chopped onion
- 3⁄4 c ORTEGA® Thick & Chunky Salsa
- 1 pk Taco Seasoning
- 1⁄4 c water
- 1 c Whole kernel corn
- 2 1⁄4 oz Sliced ripe olives, drained
- 1 pk corn muffin mix
- 1 c Shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 4 oz ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles
Cooking Ortega Fiesta Bake
1. PREHEAT oven to 350º F. COOK beef and onion until beef is browned; drain.
2. Stiri in salsa, seasoning mix and water.
3. Cook over low heat for 5 to 6 minutes or until mixture thickens.
4. Stir in corn and olives.
5. Spoon into 8-inch-square baking dish.
6. PREPARE batter for corn muffin mix according to package directions.
7. Stir in cheese and chiles.
8. Spread over meat mixture.
9. BAKE for 30 to 35 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
