Ortega Chicken Fajitas ingredients

  • 1 T Vegatable oil
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 c quartered, sliced onion
  • 1 c red and green bell pepper strips
  • 1 pk ORTEGA® Fajita Seasoning Mix
  • 1⁄3 c water
  • 8 fajita-size flour tortillas

Cooking Ortega Chicken Fajitas

1. Additional ingredient suggestions: chopped tomatoes, sliced avocado, shredded cheese, ORTEGA Thick & Chunky Salsai and chopped fresh cilantro HEAT vegetable oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add chicken; cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until no longer pink.
3. Add onion and bell pepper; cook, stirring occasionally, for 1 to 2 minutes.
4. STIR in seasoning mix and water.
5. Bring to a boil.
6. Reducei heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 to 3 minutes or until mixture thickens.
7. SPOON chicken mixture evenly over tortillas; fold in half.
8. Serve with additional ingredient suggestions.
