Oriental Roast Duck with Ginger Sauce ingredients

  • ROAST DUCK:
  • 8 Duck breast, frozen
  • 1 Salt
  • 1 Pepper
  • 1 T Corn oil
  • GINGER SAUCE:
  • 2 T Ginger, chopped
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 t garlic, chopped
  • 2 T White onions, chopped
  • 2 t All-purpose flour
  • 1 c chicken stock
  • 2 t Lemon juice
  • 1 T butter
  • Garnish:
  • 16 Pineapple slices
  • 16 parsley sprigs, fresh

Cooking Oriental Roast Duck with Ginger Sauce

1. ROAST DUCK: Thaw the duck breast in the refrigerator overnight.
2. Seasoni the duck breast with salt and pepper.
3. Heat corn oil in a frying pan, and fry the seasoned duck breasts to seal the pores.
4. Transfer duck breasts in a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes at 375 degrees Farenheit.
5. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
6. GINGER SAUCE: Sautei the chopped onions and garlic in butter.
7. Tossi in the chopped ginger and continue sauteeing.
8. Dusti with flour and cover with chicken stock.
9. Simmeri for 10 minutes.
10. Transfer to a blender and puree.
11. Combine with lemon juice and a tablespoon of cold butter.
12. Mixi well and set aside.
13. ARRANGEMENT: Cut each of the roasted duck breast fillet into half inch slices.
14. Arrange in serving plates.
15. Put a tablespoon of sauce on the side of the sliced duck breast.
16. Garnishi with two sprigs of pasley and two slices of pineapple.
17. Serve with additional ginger sauce on the side.
