Ogbono Soup (Nigerian)

Ogbono Soup (Nigerian) ingredients
- 1 c ground ogbono
- 3 T Palm oil
- 1 T Pepper
- 1 t Salt
- 10 oz beef(in cubes)
- 2 maggi cubes
- 1 t Curry
- 1 t thyme
- 1 clove onion
- 2 t cray fish
- 3 oz dry fish(optional)
- 1 c ugu leaves
- 1⁄2 c Spinach leaves
- 7 okro plant
Cooking Ogbono Soup (Nigerian)
1. wash and marinate beef with above named spices.
2. Allow to boil until tender.
3. Remove beef from stock and set aside.
4. Add cry fish, pepper, palm oil, dry fish to stock and allow to simmer.
5. Make agbono into a paste with little oil and add the paste to simmering spiced stock, add ugu leaves and grated okro, allow to cook for 2 minutes.
6. Add spinach leaves to soup, beef, allow to cook for 3 minutes before turning off heat.
7. Serve with garr.
8. i,iyan(ponded yam),semolina or elubo.

today was the first time i cooked it on my own - normally my husband is always doing it. but with this recipes it was so easy and soooo tasty.
iv cooked this sauce many
iv cooked this sauce many times for my husband but i havent used all of the ingredients used above,so my husband was very impressed and really enjoyed this soup more than usual.
