Navy Beans ingredients
- 1 c Navy beans
- 6 c water
Cooking Navy Beans
1. Soak beans by bringing to a boil, then remove from heat and soak for 1 to 4 hours (best if left for at least 4 hours); or soak overnight.
2. Drain soaking water.
3. Combine beans and water in a heavy kettle, bring to a boil; simmer for 1 hour, until tender.
