Nasi Goreng

Nasi Goreng ingredients
- 3⁄4 lb Rice
- 3 qt water
- 2 T olive oil
- 2 Onions peeled and chopped
- 6 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 t soy sauce
- 2 t Sambal or Hot Sauce
- 2 T Diced green pepper
- 2 t Sugar
- 1⁄2 lb MINCED pork
- 1⁄4 lb peeled shrimps
- 2 Eggs, beaten
Cooking Nasi Goreng
1. Cook the rice in water for about 14 minutes.
2. Drain, then rinse with cold water.
3. In a large pan, saute the chopped onions and garlic in olive oil for 2 minutes.
4. Add the minced pork and peeled shrimps.
5. Sautei for 4-5 minutes, until cooked.
6. Add the soy sauce, sambal, sugar, and diced pepper.
7. Stir-fryi for a minute.
8. Add the cooked rice, mix well and continue cooking for a few minutes more.
9. Transfer to a serving dish.
10. Cook beaten eggs to make a thin omelette.
11. Roll it up to make a pipe, then make half-inch slices.
12. Garnishi fried rice with the egg rolls.
13. Goes well with satay.
