My cabbage soup ingredients

  • 1⁄2 med Cabbage
  • 5 Onions, sliced
  • 1⁄2 lb margarine
  • 6 Potatoes, diced
  • 28 oz Tomatoes
  • 1 Water *

Cooking My cabbage soup

1. * 3 times the normal amount used to cook potatoes.
2. I just cover them and add water if necessary.
3. In a large pot, fry onion and cabbage in marg slowly til tender and brown.
4. About 25 minutes.
5. Boil potatoes til cooked.
6. Add tomatoes and fried onion and cabbage.
7. Seasoni to taste.
8. Simmeri 30 minutes.
9. Sausagei can be browned with the vegetables and added as desired.
