Mustard mozzarella pork ingredients
- 1 T butter
- 1 T Oil
- 1 Pork steaks (6 oz)
- 1 Onions, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 T Dijon-style mustard
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Dry white wine
- 3 T Half-and-half
- Salt to taste
- Fresh ground pepper to taste
- 372529⁄-2009260032 c Chopped Mozzarella cheese
- Lemon Wedges (Opt)
- Cucumber slices (opt)
- Sliced celery (opt)
- Watercress sprigs (opt)
Cooking Mustard mozzarella pork
1. Heat butter and oil in a skillet.
2. Add pork steaks and fry quickly 3 minutes on each side.
3. cover and cook gently 15 minutes, turning occasionally.
4. Remove pork steaks to a shallow flameproof dish; keep warm.
5. Add onion and garlic to skillet and cook 5 minutes.
6. add mustard and wine to onion mixture.
7. Stiri well, then bring to a boil.
8. Boil 1-½ minutes.
9. Stir in half-and-half and heat through gently.
10. Seasoni with salt and pepper.
11. Spoon mixture over pork steaks and sprinkle with cheese.
12. Preheat broiler.
13. Broili 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbling.
14. Serve hot with lemon wedges, cucumber slices, celery and watercress sprigs, if desired.
