Mr. turkey sausage and vegetable medley

Mr. turkey sausage and vegetable medley ingredients
- 1 T Cornstarch
- 1 T Brown sugar
- 1 T Light soy sauce
- 1⁄2 t Ground ginger
- 1 c Vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 pk Mr. Turkey Smoked Sausage
- -cut into ¼" slices (16oz)
- 1 T Oil
- 4 c Assorted cut-up fresh
- -vegetables
- 3 1⁄3 c Hot cooked Rice
Cooking Mr. turkey sausage and vegetable medley
1. In small bowl, combine cornstarch, brown sugar, soy sauce and ginger.
2. Gradually blend in broth until mixture is smooth; set aside.
3. Coat large, non-stick skillet with vegetable spray.
4. Browni sausage; remove.
5. Add oil and vegetables to skillet.
6. Cook, stirring 3-5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
7. Add sausage and broth mixture.
8. Cook, stirring until sauce thickens.
9. Serve over hot rice.
10. Makes 5 servings.
11. Preparation time: 20 minutes.
12. Cooking time: 15 minutes.
13. Serving size: 1 cup turkey vegetable mixture (approimately 221 calories); 2/3 cups rice (approximately 176 calories).
