Mr. green's quiche lorrainne verte ingredients
- 1⁄4 lb Bacon, cut up
- 6 oz swiss cheese, grated
- 4 Eggs
- 1 T flour
- 3⁄4 t Salt
- 1⁄8 t Pepper
- 1⁄8 t Nutmeg
- 1 pt Half & half
- 1 T butter
- 4 Green onions, inc. tops*
- Pimientos as garnish
- 1 Unbaked piecrust
Cooking Mr. green's quiche lorrainne verte
1. * chop green onions (inc.
2. Tops) fry bacon until cooked, but not too crisp.
3. Place in bottom of unbaked pie crust.
4. Place swiss cheese strips in a crisscross pattern on top of bacon.
5. Combine rest of ingredients (except pimientos) in blender, until foamy.
6. Pour mixture into piecrust.
7. Top w/pimentoes.
8. Bakei at 375°F for 45 minutes.
