Mr. food's turkish pilaf ingredients
- 1⁄4 c (½ stick) butter
- 1 med Green bell pepper, diced
- 2 1⁄2 oz Sliced Mushrooms
- 1 1⁄2 c Cubed tomato
- 1 t garlic Powder
- 1 t Salt
- 1⁄2 t Black pepper
- 10 1⁄2 oz Condensed chicken
- Broth
- 1 c Uncooked whole-or long
- - grain rice
- 3⁄4 c water
Cooking Mr. food's turkish pilaf
1. in a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
2. Add the green pepper and mushrooms and saute for 5 minutes.
3. Add the remaining ingredients, stirring until blended.
4. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Simmeri, covered, for 30 minutes o note: no fresh mushrooms? use a 4-6 ounce can of sliced mushrooms - just drain them first.
5. And no green pepper? try diced zucchini.
