Mom's mandarin orange mold

1. Dissolve gelatin in hot water as directed on package.
2. Add sherbet and melt.
3. Add oranges and juice and mix well.
4. Pour into mold, chill several hours until firm.
5. Garnishi with lettuce and fresh orange slices.
6. A colorful and tasty party salad.
