- 2 lb Fish fillets
- (pickerel & whitefish or
- -pike)
- c Oil
- 5 large Eggs
- 2 T Matzo Meal

- 1 small Onions
- Fish stock:
- Head, skin, bones from fish

- 2 Celery, cut in half
- 2 carrots, cut in half
- 1 large Onion, cut in half
- 6 c Cold water, approximately
- 1 T margarine
- 1 t Sugar
- 1 t Salt
Cooking Mom's gefilte fish
