Mississippi fried oysters ingredients
- Raw oysters
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 2 c Cornmeal
- 1 t Sugar
- 2 t Salt
- 1 t Pepper
- 2 T flour
Cooking Mississippi fried oysters
1. Drain oysters and soak in eggs.
2. Mixi cornmeal, sugar, salt, pepper and flour.
3. Dip oysters in cornmeal mixture and fry in deep shortening until golden brown.
4. Drain on paper towels.
