Microwave saucy chicken barbecue ingredients

  • 2 med Onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 T water
  • 1 11 oz can condensed Zesty Tomato Soup/Sauce
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c soy sauce
  • 1 T Wine vinegar
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Hot pepper sauce
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 3 lb. broiler-fryer chicken, cut up

Cooking Microwave saucy chicken barbecue

1. Place onions, garlic and water in a 12 x 8" microwave safe baking dish.
2. Cover with vented plastic wrap; cook on high 3 minutes or until onions are tender, stirring halfway through cooking.
3. Stiri in soup, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar and pepper sauce, mixing well.
4. Add chicken to sauce, turning to coat.
5. Place thicker pieces toward edges of dish.
6. Cover with waxed paper; cook on high 24 minutes or until chicken is cooked.
7. Rearrange chicken and stir sauce twice during cooking.
8. Let stand 5 minutes.
9. Makes 6 servings.
