Mexican rice #2 ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 (16 oz.) jar salsa
  • 1 (11 oz.) can Mexicorn whole
  • Kernel corn with red and
  • Green peppers
  • 1 1⁄2 c water
  • 1 t Chili powder
  • 1 1⁄2 c Uncooked instant rice
  • 4 oz (1 cup) shredded Monterey
  • Jack cheese

Cooking Mexican rice #2

1. Browni ground beef in large skillet; drain.
2. Stiri in salsa, corn, water and chili powder; bing to a boil.
3. Stir in rice.
4. Cover; remove from heat.
5. Let stand 5 to 7 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
6. Fluff mixture with fork; sprinkle with cheese.
7. Cover, let stand 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
8. 7 (1 cup) servings.
