Mexican rice #2 ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 (16 oz.) jar salsa
- 1 (11 oz.) can Mexicorn whole
- Kernel corn with red and
- Green peppers
- 1 1⁄2 c water
- 1 t Chili powder
- 1 1⁄2 c Uncooked instant rice
- 4 oz (1 cup) shredded Monterey
- Jack cheese
Cooking Mexican rice #2
1. Browni ground beef in large skillet; drain.
2. Stiri in salsa, corn, water and chili powder; bing to a boil.
3. Stir in rice.
4. Cover; remove from heat.
5. Let stand 5 to 7 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
6. Fluff mixture with fork; sprinkle with cheese.
7. Cover, let stand 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
8. 7 (1 cup) servings.
