Metta's burger barley soup ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2 lb Ground beef
  • 6 c water
  • 3 c Beef bouillon
  • 2 c Carrot, sliced
  • 1 1⁄2 c Onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1⁄2 c Green bell pepper, coarsely
  • -chopped
  • 1⁄3 c Barley
  • 1 t Salt
  • 1⁄2 t Pepper
  • 2 Bay leaf
  • 1⁄4 c Catsup
  • 1 28 oz. can tomatoes
  • -undrained, chopped
  • 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce

Cooking Metta's burger barley soup

1. Recipe by: mcc brown ground beef in 5 qt. dutch oven; drain.
2. Combine remaining ingredients.
3. Bring to a boil.
4. Reducei heat; cover and simmer 1 hour or until vegetables and barley are tender.
5. Remove bay leaves.
