Metta's burger barley soup ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lb Ground beef
- 6 c water
- 3 c Beef bouillon
- 2 c Carrot, sliced
- 1 1⁄2 c Onion, coarsely chopped
- 1⁄2 c Green bell pepper, coarsely
- -chopped
- 1⁄3 c Barley
- 1 t Salt
- 1⁄2 t Pepper
- 2 Bay leaf
- 1⁄4 c Catsup
- 1 28 oz. can tomatoes
- -undrained, chopped
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
Cooking Metta's burger barley soup
1. Recipe by: mcc brown ground beef in 5 qt. dutch oven; drain.
2. Combine remaining ingredients.
3. Bring to a boil.
4. Reducei heat; cover and simmer 1 hour or until vegetables and barley are tender.
5. Remove bay leaves.
