Meat and macaroni casserole ingredients

  • 16 oz Package, elbow macroni
  • 3 Medium green peppers
  • 3 Medium onions
  • 2483527⁄624973141 lb Mushrooms
  • 3 T Salad Oil
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 lb Ground bee, veal or pork
  • 28 oz can tomatoes
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Pepper
  • 8 oz Package mozzarella cheese

Cooking Meat and macaroni casserole

1. Prepare macaroni according to package directions, drain.
2. Spoon into 13 x 9 baking dish.
3. Meanwhile cut grren peppers into strips.
4. Thinly slice mushrooms.
5. In a 12 " skillet over medium heat.
6. Cook in hot salad oil. Peppers, onions, mushrooms and salt, until vegetables are tender.
7. Stiri occasionally.
8. Spoon vegetable mixture into baking dish with macroni.
9. Preheat oven to 350. In drippings remaining from skillet, cook meat and garlic, until all panjuices evaporate, and meat is browned.
10. Stir in tomatoes and thier liquid, pepper,half the grated cheese and salt.
11. Spoon mixture into baking dish with macaroni and vegetables and toss ge ntly to mix. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
12. Bakei 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and mixture is hot.
