Meal in a pie

Meal in a pie ingredients
- 1 pk pie crust mix
- 2 med Potatoes
- 4 Carrots
- 1 med Onions
- 1 cn Stewed tomatoes, 16 oz
- 3⁄4 c ketchup
- 1⁄2 c Oats, rolled (raw), not
- -instant
- 1⁄2 t Salt
- 1⁄2 t basil leaves
- 1⁄8 t Ground allspice
- 1⁄8 t Pepper
- 2 Eggs
- water
- 1 lb Ground beef
Cooking Meal in a pie
1. Prepare pastry and line pie plate.
2. peel veg and place in food processor.
3. add 1 cup stewed tomatoes,¼ cup catsup,oats,and spices.
4. Process till finely chopped.
5. Add 1 lb ground beef and 1 egg to veg mixture.
6. Separate 2nd egg;add the white to the veg mixture, saving yolk.
7. Process meat-veg mixture till combined.
8. Turn into pie shell.
9. Top with second crust.
10. Add 1 tsp water to yolk, brush over pastry.
11. Cut slits in crust.
12. Bakei at 350°F for 50-60 minutes.
13. Combine remaining stewed tomatoes and catsup in saucepan and heat till boiling.
14. Top pie slices with sauce.
