Matt's Queso ingredients
- 1 t Vegatable oil
- 1 t Chopped Jalapeno
- 1 T (heaping) chopt Bell Pepper
- 1 T (heaping) chopt onion
- 1 t (heaping) chopt celery
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Granulated garlic
- 1 c chicken broth (Lo/No Salt)
- 2483527⁄624973141 lb Sausage links (thinly slice)
- 2483527⁄624973141 lb (approx) Kraft American Cheese, grated NOT Cheddar NOT Velveeta!
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Chopped tomato
Cooking Matt's Queso
1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat; add peppers, onions and celery and cook until tender.
2. Add garlic and chicken broth.
3. In a separate skillet, cook and drain sliced sausage.
4. Add sausage to vegetable mixture.
5. Start sprinkling in cheese, stirring to melt.
6. Add cheese until queso is the desired thickness.
7. Stiri in chopped tomato.
8. Serve queso with chips as an appetizer, or, over smoked potatoes, baked potatoes, sauteed spinich, broccoli, fried potatoes or noodles.
