Mashed potato cakes ingredients

  • 2 c flour, sifted
  • 4 t baking powder
  • 1 t Salt
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 t Carroway seed
  • 2 c Mashed potatoes

Cooking Mashed potato cakes

1. Mixi and sift dry ingredients; work in butter and add caraway seed, mashed potatoes and lastly the milk.
2. Roll about as thick as biscuits; cut into squares.
3. Browni slowly in a little fat over slow heat.
4. Split and spread with butter.
