Maple basted broiled bluefish ingredients

  • 1⁄2 c Maple syrup
  • 8 Bluefish fillets (about
  • -2 ½ to 3 pounds total)
  • Allspice
  • 2 T Corn oil
  • Salt and ground black pepper

Cooking Maple basted broiled bluefish

1. Pour maple syrup in a shallow bowl.
2. Add bluefish fillets and turn to coat thoroughly.
3. Sprinkle with spices.
4. Set aside to marinade.
5. Lightly grease broiling rack or grill with corn oil. Broili or grill bluefish about 6 inches form heat for 2-4 min. on each side.
6. Bastei fish with syrup one or twice until fish flakes and the outside is lightly caramelized.
