Malaysian Meatballs ingredients

  • 1 Eggs
  • 1⁄2 c Unseasoned Dry Bread Crumbs
  • 1⁄4 c Unsalted butter
  • 1 lb beef ground round
  • 1 c Bread crumbs
  • 1 c Onions
  • 2 T garlic
  • 1 t Ginger
  • 1⁄4 t Ground cumin
  • 1⁄8 t Ground cinnamon
  • 1⁄50 t Ground cloves
  • 1⁄2 t Kosher salt
  • 1⁄4 t Black pepper
  • 1 T Fresh lime juice

Cooking Malaysian Meatballs

1. Place the beaten egg in a small bowl, set aside.
2. Place the dry breadcrumbs in a small bowl, set aside.
3. Heat the butter in a skillet, over a medium flame.
4. Combine remaining ingredients-mix well.
5. Form into ¾-inch meatballs.
6. Moisten with beaten egg. Roll in breadcrumbs.
7. Place into the skillet and brown well on all sides.
8. Drain on a cooling rack and blot with paper towels.
9. Arrange onto a serving platter.
10. Skewer with frilled toothpicks.
11. Serve hot, with assorted dipping sauces to the side.
