Louisiana chicken ingredients

  • 2 sli Bacon
  • 1⁄2 c Chopped onion
  • 1 small Green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1⁄8 t thyme leaves, crushed
  • 1 cn Condensed tomato soup
  • 1⁄2 c water
  • 1 1⁄2 c Diced cooked chicken
  • Cooked rice

Cooking Louisiana chicken

1. In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp; remove and crumble.
2. Cook onion and green bell pepper with thyme in bacon drippings until tender.
3. Stiri in remaining ingredients.
4. Heat; stirring occasionally.
5. Serve over cooked rice.
6. Garnishi with bacon crumbs.
7. makes about 3 cups.
