Lemon sorbet w/fresh blueberries and blueberry sauce

Lemon sorbet w/fresh blueberries and blueberry sauce ingredients
- 4 c Fresh blueberries
- 1 c water
- 3 T Fresh lemon juice
- 2 T Cornstarch
- 3 T Sugar
- 1 1⁄2 pt Lemon sorbet
- 2 c Fresh blueberries
Cooking Lemon sorbet w/fresh blueberries and blueberry sauce
1. Lemoni peel, thinly sliced (yellow part only) fresh lemon balm or mint sprigs sauce: combine 4 cups fresh blueberries (or frozen), water, lemon juice and cornstarch in heavy large saucepan.
2. Stiri over medium-high heat until mixture boils and thickens.
3. Cool slightly.
4. Pureei mixture in processor or blender until smooth.
5. Mixi in sugar.
6. Refrigerate until chilled, about 3 hours.
7. (can be prepared 2 days ahead).
8. Scoop sorbet into goblets.
9. Spoon sauce over.
10. Top with fresh berries.
11. Garnishi with lemon peel and lemon balm.
