Lemon nutmeg sauce ingredients
- 1 T Cornstarch
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Sugar
- 1 t Grated lemon peel
- 1 c water
- 2 T Lemon juice
- 2 T butter Or margarine
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Nutmeg
Cooking Lemon nutmeg sauce
1. Combine cornstarch, sugar and lemon peel in top of double boiler.
2. Blend in water.
3. Stiri over low heat until thickened.
4. Cook over hot water 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Remove from heat; add remaining ingredients.
6. Stir until butter melts.
