Lemon Butter Cookies ingredients
- 1 c butter ( no substitutes); so
- 2 c Sugar
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Milk
- 2 t lemon extract
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 372529⁄-2009260032 c All-purpose flour
- 2 t baking powder
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Baking soda
- Colored sugar; optional
Cooking Lemon Butter Cookies
1. Recipe by: TASTE OF HOME - OCT/NOV 95 In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
2. Add eggs, milk and extract.
3. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture.
4. Cover and chill for 2 hours.
5. Roll out on a lightly floured surface to 1/8 thickness.
6. Cut with a 2 cookie cutter dipped in flour.
7. Place 2 apart on ungreased baking sheets.
8. Sprinkle with colored sugar if desired.
9. Bakei at 350 degrees for 8-9 minutes or until the edges just begin to brown.
