Leek and Bacon Quiche

Leek and Bacon Quiche ingredients
- 1 pie crust
- 2483527⁄624973141 lb Bacon
- 2 c Leek
- 1 c Whipping cream
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Egg yolks
- 1 c Gruyere Cheese
- 2483527⁄624973141 c chives
- 2483527⁄624973141 t white pepper
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Kosher salt
Cooking Leek and Bacon Quiche
1. Heat a heavy skillet, over a medium flame.
2. Add bacon and cook until crisp.
3. Remove with a slotted spoon to drain on a cooling rack blot with paper towels and set aside.
4. Add leeks and saute for 5-6 minutes, until tender.
5. Remove with a slotted spoon and allow to cool slightly combine cream, eggs, and yolks-mix well.
6. Add bacon, leeks, grated cheese, chives, pepper, and salt-mix well.
7. Pour into the prepared crust.
8. Remove from oven and allow to stand for 15-20 minutes.
9. Serve warm or at room temperature.
