Lebanese herb salad ingredients
- 1 pita bread
- 1⁄2 Head leaf lettuce, washed dried, and chopped
- 1 bn Cilantro, chopped
- 1 bn Scallions, thinly sliced
- 3 Tomatoes, diced
- 2 T Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 T Fresh mint, chopped
- 1 T Sumac
- 1⁄4 c olive oil
- 2 Lemon, juiced
- 1⁄2 t Cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Lebanese herb salad
1. Bakei the pita bread so that it is dry. Break the bread up into small pieces and set them aside.
2. In a medium bowl place the lettuce, red bell peppers, cilantro, scallions, tomatoes, parsley, mint, and sumac.
3. Tossi the ingredients together.
4. Add the olive oil and toss it in well.
5. Add the lemon juice, cinnamon, salt and pepper.
6. Toss the ingredients together well.
7. Add the pita bread pieces and toss them in.
