Layer Banana Pudding

Layer Banana Pudding ingredients
- c All-purpose flour
- c Packed brown sugar
- 2 c Milk
- 2 Egg yolks beaten
- 2 T butter Or margarine
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 1 c Heavy cream whipped
- 4 to 6 firm bananas, sliced
- Chopped walnuts, optional
Cooking Layer Banana Pudding
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the flour and brown sugar,; stir in milk.
2. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly; cook and stir 1 minute more.
3. Removed from the heat.
4. Gradually stir about 1 cup hot mixture into egg yolks.
5. Return all to the saucepan.
6. Bring to a gentle boil: cook and stir for 2 minutes.
7. Remove from the heat; stir in butter, and vanilla.
8. Cool to room tempeerature, stirring occasionally.
9. Foldi in the whipped cream.
10. Layer a third of the pudding in 2 qt glass bowl; top with half of the bananas.
11. Repeat layers.
12. Top with remaining pudding.
13. Sprinkle with nuts if desired.
14. Cover and chill at leat 1 hour before serving.
15. Yield: 8 servings.
