Lawry's Mexican Lasagna ingredients

  • 372529⁄-2009260032 lb Lean ground beef
  • 1 oz Package taco seasoning mix
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t seasoned salt -- or more to taste
  • 1 c diced tomatoes -- fresh or canned
  • 16 oz Tomato sauce
  • 4 oz diced green chilis
  • 1 c Ricotta cheese
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 10 Corn tortillas
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Shredded jack cheese
  • OR 10-ounces total

Cooking Lawry's Mexican Lasagna

1. Cook ground beef in large skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 8 minutes.
2. Drain off fat. Add taco seasoning mix, seasoned salt, tomatoes, tomato sauce and chiles.
3. Mixi well and bring to boil.
4. Reducei heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
5. Combine ricotta cheese and eggs in small bowl.
6. Spread 1/2 meat mixture in 13x9-inch baking dish.
7. Place 5 tortillas over meat mixture.
8. Spread 1/2 ricotta cheese mixture over tortillas and sprinkle with 1/2 Jack cheese.
9. Repeat layers.
10. Bakei uncovered at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and lightly browned, 20 to 30 minutes.
11. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares for serving.
