Latin Cheese Fondue ingredients

  • 4 c Cheddar cheese
  • 4 c Jack cheese
  • 1⁄4 c flour
  • 1⁄2 garlic
  • 12 oz Beer
  • 1⁄2 c Jalapeno Chile Pepper
  • Croutons
  • Smoked ham
  • shrimp
  • Red or green bell pepper
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Avacados
  • tortilla chips
  • assorted savory crackers

Cooking Latin Cheese Fondue

1. Combine cheese, flour, and chile powder-toss to mix well.
2. Rub inside of chafing dish or fondue pot with garlic, discard garlic.
3. Heat beer in chafer or fondue pot. Slowly stir in cheese mixture, allowing each to melt before adding more.
4. Stiri in diced chiles.
5. Serve hot, with croutons, ham, shrimp, bell pepper strips, cherry tomatoes, avocado slices, tortilla chips, and/or assorted savory crackers to the side.
