LASAGNA MARIA ingredients

  • 1 pk lasagna noodles, (8oz)
  • 1 lb mild pork sausage
  • 1 jar (32oz) spaghetti sauce
  • 1 Egg; lightly beaten
  • 12 oz Ricotta cheese
  • 1 T Dried parsley flakes
  • 2 t Dried whole oregano
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 c mozzarella cheese *
  • 2 oz sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 pk pepperoni, (3 1/2oz), sliced

Cooking LASAGNA MARIA

1. * Shredded and divided Cook lasagna noodles according to package
directions, omitting salt, and then drain.
2. Cook sausage until browned,
Stirring to crumble; drain.
3. Stir spaghetti sauce into sausage, and set
aside.
4. Combine egg and next five ingredients, stirring well.
5. Spread about
1/2 cup meat sauce in a lightly greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
6. Layer half of
the noodles, half of ricotta cheese mixture, one-third of mozzarella
cheese, and one-third of remaining meat sauce; repeat layers using equal
amounts.
7. Arrange mushrooms and pepperoni slices on top. Bakei at 375ΓΈ for 20
mins.
8. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, and bake an additional five mins.
