LASAGNA DELICIOUSA ingredients

  • 2 lb uncooked creamette lasagna
  • 1 lb bulk italian sausage
  • 2 lb Ground beef
  • 1 c Onion, chopped
  • 2 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 c (28 ounces) tomatoes, cut-up drained
  • 2 c Tomato paste
  • 2 t Sugar
  • 2 t Salt, divided
  • 2 t Dried basil, crushed
  • 2 t Fennel seeds
  • 4 t Pepper
  • 15 oz Ricotta cheese
  • 1 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 T parsley flakes
  • 1 c pitted ripe olives, sliced
  • 4 c Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3⁄4 c Grated Parmesan cheese

Cooking LASAGNA DELICIOUSA

1. Prepare lasagna according to package directions; drain.
2. Cook sausage,
ground, beef, onion and garlic in large skillet over medium-high heat
until sausage is no longer pink and onion is tender.
3. Stiri in tomatoes, tomatoe paste, sugar, 2 teaspoons of the salt, the
basil, fennel seeds and pepper.
4. Bring to a boil over high heat.
5. Reducei heat to low. Simmeri, uncovered, for about 20 minutes.
6. In small bowl, blend ricotta, egg, parsley and remaining 1/2 teaspoon
of salt.
7. Spoon 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce into 13x9 inch baking dish.
8. Layer 1/3 each of the lasagna, remaining meat sauce, ricotta mixture,
olives, mozzarella and Parmesani cheese into dish.
9. Repeat layers.
10. Cover with foil.
11. Bakei at 375 F for 25 minutes.
12. Uncover.
13. Bake about 20 minutes more or until heated through.
14. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
