Lady Fingers # 2 ingredients

  • 3 Egg Whites; Stiffly Beaten
  • 2 Egg yolks, beaten until thick
  • c Cake flour
  • c Powdered sugar;
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t vanilla
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Orange flavoring
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt

Cooking Lady Fingers # 2

1. Sifti sugar.
2. Measure.
3. Foldi gradually into egg whites.
4. Carefully fold in egg yolks which have been combined with flavorings and salt.
5. Sift flour.
6. Measure and sift carefully.
7. Fold into mixture.
8. Cover a baking sheet with un-oiled paper.
9. Shape the lady fingers with a pastry tube having each about 4 inches long, and 1 inch wide.
10. Bakei in moderate oven (375 F) 10 minutes.
11. As soon as removed from oven slip from baking sheet, using a wide spatula.
12. Place the bottom of one lady finger on the bottom of another.
13. Lay on waxed paper.
14. Cool. Dusti with powdered sugar.
