Lady aimes toffee ingredients
- 1⁄2 c Sugar
- 1⁄4 c Brown sugar
- 2⁄5 c Corn sirup
- 1⁄2 c Chopped raisins
- Few grains salt
- 2⁄5 c Evaporated milk
- 2 T butter or butter substitute
- 1 t Any flavoring
- 1⁄2 c Chopped nuts
- 1⁄2 c coconut
Cooking Lady aimes toffee
1. Combine sugar, sirup, milk, and salt.
2. Boil to hard ball stage (265 - 270°F).
3. Add butter, flavoring, chopped nuts, raisins, and coconut.
4. Pour into well-buttered pan. When cold cut into long narrow bars.
