Kulikuli (Peanut Balls)

Kulikuli (Peanut Balls) ingredients
- 1 lb Roasted peanuts
- 1⁄4 c Peanut oil, or to taste
- 1 small Onions, finely chopped
- 1 t Cayenne
- 1 t Salt
- Oil for frying
Cooking Kulikuli (Peanut Balls)
1. Grindi or pound the nuts adding just enough oil to make a smooth paste.
2. With wet hands, squeeze the mixture to remove any excess oil. Sautei the onions, cayenne & salt in a tablespoon of oil until golden.
3. Kneadi into the nut paste.
4. Shape into 1" diameter balls adding a few drops of water if necessary to make them hold together.
5. Drop the balls into hot oil or flatten & fry in a skillet.
6. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the outsides are crisp.
