Korean-Style Marinated Skirt Steak/Grilled Scallions/Tortillas

Korean-Style Marinated Skirt Steak/Grilled Scallions/Tortillas ingredients
- 1 T Sugar
- 3 T soy sauce
- 1 T Sake
- 4 large Clove garlic, finely chopped
- 3 scallions -- white part only, minced
- 2 t Finely chopped ginger
- 2 t Toasted sesame oil
- 1 lb skirt steak -- trimmed and cut into 4 portions
- 1 T Vegatable oil
- Salt and fresh ground pepper
Cooking Korean-Style Marinated Skirt Steak/Grilled Scallions/Tortillas
1. Preheat grill.
2. Combine sugar, soy sauce, sake, garlic, scallions, ginger and sesame oil in a mediumsize flat dish.
3. Add the steak and coat well with the marinade.
4. Let marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes, turning once.
5. Remove meat from marinade and grill on each side for 2 to 3 minutes, for medium rare.
6. Remove from grill, cover and let rest for 5 minutes.
7. Slice thinly against the grain.
