Kolacky

Kolacky ingredients
- 2483527⁄624973141 c butter
- 3 oz Cream cheese
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 1 c flour
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 6 t 100% fruit spread
- 1 Eggs
- 1 t Water, Cold
Cooking Kolacky
1. Use various flavors of fruit spread.
2. Combine butter and cream cheese in large bowl; beat until smooth and creamy.
3. Blend in vanilla.
4. Combine flour and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, mixing until mixture forms soft dough.
5. Divide dough in half; wrap each half in plastic wrap.
6. Refrigerate until firm.
7. Preheat oven to 37Roll out half of dough on lightly floured pastry cloth or board to 1/8" thickness.
8. Cut with top of glass or biscuit cutter into 3" rounds.
9. Spoon ½ ts fruit spread onto center of each dough circle.
10. Beat egg with water; lightly brush onto edges of dough circles.
11. Bring three edges of dough up over fruit spread; pinch edges together to seal.
12. Place on ungreased cookie sheets; brush with egg mixture.
13. Pepeat with remaining dough and fruit spread.
14. Bakei 12 minutes, until golden brown.
15. Let stand on cookie sheets 1 minute; transfer to wire rack.
16. Cool completely.
17. Store in tightly covered container.
