Kirsov's Pudding ingredients

  • 4 Lg. sweet potatos peeled & grated
  • 1 c molasses
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c buttermilk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Melted butter
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt

Cooking Kirsov's Pudding

1. * Honeyi may be substituted for molasses.
2. I had this dish made both ways.
3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Greasei a 2 qt. baking dish.
4. Beat eggs, add the molasses or honey, melted butter, & salt.
5. Stiri in the grated sweet potatos.
6. Pour this mixture into the baking dish.
7. Bakei for 2 hours or until the pudding is a dark, caramel color.
8. Be sure to grate the sweet potatos just befor eusing them as they will turn dark and not look as appetizing when cooked.
