Kidney Bean-Corn Chili ingredients

  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1⁄2 c Green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 T Vegatable oil
  • 2 c frozen or fresh corn kernels
  • 3 c Cooked kidney beans
  • 1 c water -- or bean cooking
  • Liquid
  • 1 1⁄2 T Tomato paste
  • 1 t Chili powder
  • 1⁄4 t Cumin
  • 1 t Oregano

Cooking Kidney Bean-Corn Chili

1. Sautei onion and garlic in oil. Browni green pepper lightly.
2. Add liquid, corn a nd tomato paste.
3. Mash 1 cup beans and then add all the beans to the mixture.
4. Add seasonings.
5. Bring to boil.
6. Simmeri for 1/2 hour until thick, not watery.
